As the Eid Al Fitr holiday approaches, Dubai’s leading airline, Emirates, has announced the addition of 19 extra flights to cater to the anticipated travel surge. This expansion is a strategic move to accommodate more than 150,000 travelers expected to fly with Emirates during the festive period, enhancing connectivity across the region.
Recognizing the significant travel demand, Emirates is increasing its flight frequency to key destinations such as Jeddah, Kuwait, Beirut, and Amman. From April 7 to 13, seven additional flights will be added to the Jeddah route, offering passengers more options to explore popular destinations like London and the Maldives, as well as to visit family and friends in Colombo and Karachi.
In response to the high travel demand in Kuwait, Emirates is introducing six extra flights between April 7 and 20. These additional services will facilitate travel to leisure hotspots such as Dubai, Bangkok, and Osaka, and support those traveling home to cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar.
Starting May 2, Emirates will also increase its flight schedule to Bahrain, offering 22 weekly flights to meet the growing travel needs to and from the kingdom. This expansion reflects the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and providing more travel options to its customers.
Families reuniting to celebrate Eid Al Fitr will also benefit from added flights to Amman and Beirut, with four and two additional flights, respectively, scheduled to accommodate the influx of travelers during this festive period.
To further enhance the travel experience, Emirates is introducing a special Eid menu for customers on flights departing from Dubai. The menu will feature a range of culinary delights, including traditional favorites like chicken biryani, lamb kibbeh labanieh, machbous, and a dessert of vanilla and rose mousse cake. This festive offering is part of Emirates’ commitment to providing an exceptional onboard experience for its passengers.
Emirates’ announcement of these additional flights is a testament to its responsiveness to customer demand and its ability to provide increased connectivity during peak travel periods. The airline’s initiative to enhance its flight services during Eid Al Fitr not only demonstrates its dedication to customer satisfaction but also its role in facilitating cultural and familial connections across the region.
