The Instant Licence Service, a first-of-its-kind in the region, is tailored to encompass all the critical components needed for setting up and operating a business efficiently in Sharjah. It’s designed to speed up the business setup process, thereby enabling entrepreneurs to quickly tap into the region’s vibrant economy.
Key elements of the comprehensive service include:
- Business Licence: A primary requirement for any business operation in the UAE.
- Memorandum of Association (MOA): A document outlining the company’s charter.
- Lease Agreement: For securing office or business space within the SPC Free Zone.
- Share Certificate: Documenting ownership and shareholder details.
- Certificate of Formation: Validating the existence of the business entity.
- Business Activity Certificate: Specifying the approved business activities under the licence.
Additionally, this instant licence offers the flexibility to select up to three licence activities from over 1,500 options across various industries. It also includes provisions for an unlimited number of visa quotas, simplifying the process of obtaining visas for key company personnel in the UAE.
Mansour Al Hassani, Director of Publisher Services at the Sharjah Book Authority and Acting Director of SPC Free Zone, emphasized the strategic vision behind this initiative. “We adopt a clear strategy towards supporting the business environment in Sharjah and strengthening its status as an attractive global destination for investment,” he said.
