Zoho Solidifies Market Presence in UAE with Substantial Growth

Zoho, a renowned global technology company, has made a significant mark in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a 43 percent revenue growth and a 29 percent increase in its partner network in 2023. The company’s notable progression is marked by an upmarket shift, attracting an increasing number of mid-to-large scale enterprises to its extensive range of solutions.

In the past year, Zoho has observed a 24 percent increase in the migration of large corporations to its platforms, making the UAE the fastest-growing market for Zoho globally in 2023. This surge highlights the alignment of the UAE’s dynamic business landscape and digital transformation initiatives with Zoho’s mission to empower businesses.

Hyther Nizam, President of Zoho MEA, expressed enthusiasm over this development. “The UAE’s vibrant business scene and its pioneering approach to digital transformation perfectly align with Zoho’s mission to empower enterprises,” he stated. Nizam also emphasized the significant role Zoho’s solutions play in helping leading homegrown companies across various sectors streamline operations, optimize costs, and sustain growth, contributing positively to the UAE’s digital evolution.

Zoho’s expansion into the enterprise segment is further reinforced through strategic partnerships in the UAE as part of its ‘transnational localism’ strategy. The company has collaborated with key government entities, such as the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), and Dubai Culture, to support the national digitalization agenda. With a total investment of Dh43 million, these partnerships have enabled the digital transformation of nearly 5,000 small, medium, and large UAE corporations.

In addition to providing local support, Zoho has introduced tailored offerings to meet the specific needs of UAE businesses. A notable achievement in 2023 was Zoho becoming the first technology provider to integrate corporate tax capabilities into its VAT-compliant accounting software, Zoho Books, aiding businesses in maintaining compliance with local regulations.

Zoho’s growth strategy also includes expanding its network of system integrators and value-added resellers to offer comprehensive implementation and support services to large corporations.

This remarkable growth and strategic positioning demonstrate Zoho’s commitment to catering to the evolving needs of the UAE market. By offering customized and comprehensive solutions, Zoho continues to establish itself as a key player in the region’s technology sector, driving innovation and digital transformation across various industries.
