What the team does

The team that researches, writes, fact-checks and updates every guide and calculator on UAE Business Explained.

  • Research. Each guide starts from the official sources for its topic: UAE law, the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Tax Authority, the ministries and authorities that apply the rules, and official statistics.
  • Writing. Guides answer one question in plain English, with worked examples in AED and every UAE figure taken from our facts register. Drafts are written with AI tools.
  • Checking. Every number and rule is compared with its source in a separate step before publication.
  • Updates. When a rule changes, the team updates the register and the guides that quote it, and reviews them again.

How this works in detail is set out in our editorial policy and methodology. You can browse the results in the library.

Authors and reviewers

We name a person only when they are real and have agreed to be named. A writer or reviewer appears on a guide only if they worked on that guide, and any qualification we list is one that can be checked. We do not use pen names, stock photos or invented experts.

Named writers and expert reviewers will be listed here as they join the team. Until then, every guide is published under the editorial team's name alone.
